This card offers an excellent opportunity to earn lots of bonus points with your purchases and has zero annual fees. There is an intro APR of 0 percent on all purchases and balance transfers for the first 15 months, which is useful. The warranty and protection offered on returns and purchases are decent as well.

For 15 months after signing up for Amex EveryDay, the APR will be 0% on all purchases and balance transfers. After the completion of the 15-month period, there will be a variable APR of 12.99% to 21.99%, on both purchases and balance transfers, depending on your credit score and other relevant factors.

Fees

The big advantage signing up for the Amex EveryDay card is that there is no annual fee on it. There is no annual fee for any additional cards you purchase either. So any family members you add on will benefit from zero annual fees.

Rewards

With Amex EveryDay, you can earn 20% more points when you make 20 or more separate purchase with it within a single billing period. You can then redeem your rewards at more than 70 online retailers. The points earned as a reward can be used to pay for credit card charges or to get gift cards for dining and entertainment. You can even pay for a flight ticket, hotel booking or a travel booking using the rewards got from Amex EveryDay. You can transfer your points to any US airline’s frequent flyer program.

Warranty and Protection

The Amex EveryDay card has a return protection of $300 per purchase, up to a total purchase of $1000 in a calendar year. The protection applies when the merchant does not accept the item being returned by you. The return protection does not cover items such as mobile phones, automobiles, software, jewelry and perishable goods.

Amex EveryDay also offers a purchase protection if a product bought with the card gets accidentally damaged or stolen. An extended warranty of up to 1 year is available on eligible purchase made with Amex EveryDay, provided the manufacturer’s warranty is for 5 years or less. Amex EveryDay offers travel accident insurance coverage in the event of death or injury while travelling in a bus, train or plane, on a ticket bought with the card. Amex EveryDay also offers protection on car rentals, in case of an accidental damage or theft.
